Historique :	Il s'agit d'une statue de confrérie, portative, témoin des épidémies de peste qui ravageaient alors la Lorraine et dont saint Roch était le protecteur très invoqué.

Précision sur_l'état :	Oeuvre restaurée en 2010 par Sophie Barton, Olivier Galli et Gilles Mantoux.
Précision_sur la representation :	Saint-Roch est vêtu d'une courte cape ornée de coquilles Saint-Jacques sur une longue tunique dorée. Il porte un chapeau orné lui aussi d'une coquille Saint-Jacques et une gourde est suspendue sous son bras dextre qui tient également un bâton de pèlerin. Avec sa main senestre il montre sa plaie sur sa cuisse dextre. Saint Roch se tient debout sur une terrasse peinte en vert. Cette base est vissée sur un socle rectangulaire, orné d'acanthes et doré à l'eau. Il est accompagné d'un chien qui tient un pain dans sa gueule. Cette scène est associée au retour du pèlerinage que le saint fit à Rome de 1368 à 1371. il fut alors atteint de la peste et pour ne pas risquer de répandre la contagion, décida de se retirer en ermite au fond des bois. C'est alors qu'il fut nourri par un chien, qui chaque jour, dérobant un pain à son maître, lui apporta.
