Historique :	Cet autel nous est parvenu privé du couronnement que F. de Liocourt avait encore vu vers 1905. A part cela, il est complet et très lorrain puisque, suivant la liturgie touloise alors en usage, il comporte deux tabernacles superposés. Celui du bas, conserve l'évangéliaire que le diacre prenait pour chanter l'Evangile à l'ambon, celui du haut garde la réserve eucharistique dans le ciboire. L'église de Parey-sous-Montfort est l'ancienne église du prieuré de Notre-Dame de Bethléem de l'ordre de Prémontré, fondé en 1662, et vendu le 27 juillet 1793.
